cpd23 has definitely helped me make contact with new people. For example, a few weeks ago I attended a tweet-up and although I knew a few of the attendees, most were new to me.
So far, cpd23 hasn’t changed the way I use social media as I was already involved in this kind of thing, but it has helped me connect with new people.
I agree that social networking helps to foster a sense of community, especially for those who work on their own or in small teams. Thanks Tweeps for being my tea-break friends!
